He attended the University of Akron as an undergraduate, graduating with honors, and went to Medical School at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. After graduation, he moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin for his internship and residency in Internal Medicine and became Board Certified in Internal Medicine in 1978. He then finished a two-year fellowship in Allergy and Immunology, becoming Board Certified in this specialty in 1979. Dr. Cohen is an author of 22 publications in medical and scientific journals. Dr. Cohen was on the faculty of the Medical College of Wisconsin for seven years before entering private practice in 1984 and continues to be a member of the Clinical Faculty of the Medical College. Dr. Cohen’s Philosophy of Care: “Our goal is to achieve the best quality of life for our patients that we can. We work together with our patients in a pro-active and assertive manner to accomplish this goal. We take all the time needed to educate our patients and to answer their questions.” Dr.Cohen has been named as one of the top physicians in his field by his fellow physicians and Milwaukee Magazine in 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008.
